Tried to tweak my dish today but still no 2g uk beams possible. I am getting 2e today from about 11:30 am. Lets hope they don't transfer anything from 2e to 2g as if this is the worst it can get I am only really losing the c5's and few others I suppose.

The 2G Europe Beam is very strong here - 18.5 to 19dB with a 240cm reflector. So about 3dB stronger than the 2E/2F Europe Beams. The UK Spot is as strong (or weak...) as the 2F Spot was before. Currently very weak even, during evening hours only 7-8 dBs, so 240cm during June are really required for picture and sound, while in the afternoon or during lunch time, 125 - 150cm are sufficient.

I've got 80% Signal, 100% Quality On my Humax on the Euro beam here in Slovakia. Not that I need it ! Would gladly trade it for a sliver of that Uk beam !

That's quite a sharp drop from mainland Greece with good signal to no signal in Crete.

Well if you are getting any 2g uk beam then you are doing much better than me here in Slovakia (Near Brno) as I am getting nothing 24/7 ;)

I am aware 2G has at least two levels of Euro footprint EiRP power level, when the rate card was likely placed under the noses of the two operators of the four TP's, they've gone for the cheapest option identical to that of what E28A is currently doing. The interim illuminated 2G TP's (89 upwards etc) have a much better C/N and quality level as they have the 16MHz SES offset. I'm sure that co-channel opposing polarised TP's isn't helping, this dependant of course on crosstalk isolation of the individual LNB. I'm using an Inverto Quattro at home from a Triax TD64.

Don´t know if it is the same in your area, but here in Spain signal appears strongest at approx 08:00 CET ( ie half an hour from now ) Could be a good time to try 2G / 2E signals
