Astra 2G Launch: December 2014

With a sprinkling of snow on the ground too.

Excellent picture, not long to wait now and something to look forward to once the Christmas festivities are over.

Hopefully not a huge firework!
We hope not! Wouldn't be a good Christmas for either SES or the manufacturers. I bet all the senior SES management are having their Christmas celebrations today, then to be on a flight tomorrow or first thing Saturday, so to arrive at the launch site in time for Sunday morning.

EST = Eastern Standard Time (USA & Canada) so it makes sense.

Think they have bought light the blue touch paper time forward.

Launch is a matter of minutes after Top Gear finishes.

I hope that is not an omen.
