Quick update (after alleged move to 2G for some transponders):
Overcast, heavy rain earlier in the day (moist air).
Eveythng still working fine here north of Copenhagen/DK on CM180/BUQuattro:
BBC etc as usual, CBS channels booming in, ITV going very well.

No significant change in user experience after 2G.

It seems 2G euro beam is too strong in Finland for UK spot signal...so I hate already this 2G eurobeam. Before 2G, there was really no strong signals at low band 10700-11700 except 2C affecting 2F UK spot. Anyway 2E is not affected, so 2E UK spot signal at least stays...

2G UK 10964H was fine yesterday about 11 hours, between 12:00-23:00... againsts 2F UK 24h receptions for that same channel...it seems the reception goes worser now (prev day 24h cycle was much higher signal)..

The signal levels on UK beam channels dropped after the switchover and I had some pixelation on 11023H (BBC Four HD etc.) yesterday. However, it seems to be improving for us here in South western Sweden. The weather was really bad on wednesday so it is a little difficult to compare one day to another this week. Astra 2F was always much stronger than 2E here. On wednesday, 2G seemed weeker than even 2E, now it is the other way around. Maybe the nill-line over Denmark is moving westward somewhat for 2G. Such move would be beneficial for us in Gothenburg at the cost of viewers in e.g. western Norway.

Over on the Finnish forum member huve is reporting good signal levels on his Helsinki 110cm balcony setup for the 2G Europe beam on the ex-28A transponders. Not as strong as the old 2A/2B North beam but much better than Eutelsat 28A. This means I should be able to pick it up on my 85cm setup too. Will confirm levels when I get back to Finland.

Can confirm huve´s notes absolutely. Clearly stronger than 28A earlier (2G Europe beam).

Great, thanks. I could get 28A pretty well, so this is encouraging.

What are your signal levels like for these temporary transponders:
11.464H 22.0 5/6 QPSK DVB-S
11.479V 23.0 8/9 QPSK DVB-S2
11.509V 22.0 5/6 QPSK DVB-S

My friend in Odense, Denmark lost ITVs on 11053H as they are on UK beam (Selfsat antenna). Or did they move from somewhere?

Moved from 2F UK to 2G UK but same frequency.

Hm but he used to receive ITV2,3,4 HD from somewhere on his Selfsat, so it had to be on another frequency (European beam)... but anyway... he can't get that on his tiny dish :)

ITV2/3/4 HD versions moved from 11.758H 2E Europe a few weeks ago to UK spots on ITV's own transponders.

2G UK: after some initial hope with strong levels on 1st day, now beyond stable reception with current dish size, similar level cycles as 2F UK.

2G EU: excellent, better levels than anything seen from E28A. So if everything else fails, I can watch Paver Shoes 24\24 lol+++
