astra 3a problems in south wales (near bristol)

On astra 3a i can only pic up a few TP but the others like the germans and the Czech link are not im useing a channel master 1.2 with feedhorn and invacom c120 fitting lnb but not a sniff of signal, now i have a few customers who now it seems like the channel master 1.8m dish is the only way,
 
3A is crap in this part of the UK, I am going to put up a 1.5 to try and get it properly, very intermittent on my 1.1. Many posts on this subject already.

In Berkshire a 1m dish will pick them up for a few hours a day, someone is trying a 1.25m Gilbertini at the moment, will be interesting to see whether it affords 24 hour coverage.
 
In Swindon 1m dish pick them up for few hours in the morning and early evening.
