Astra + Hotbird through Sky Digibox

My Satellite Setup
Hotbird + Strong
Sky 1.2m
Here in Athens, I have 2 dishes (1.2 m Sky and 70cm Hotbird). A single cable runs from those two dishes down into the Strong 4155 box for Hotbird and this loops into the Sony Sky Digibox for Astra.

I'm trying to do away with the Strong box and add channels to the digibox, running the cable straight into the digibox. I can receive the Sky channels no problem (apart from fringe issues with BBC/C4, etc) but I can't seem to program in the Hotbird channels.

Am I barking up the wrong tree here? Is it possible to have a single cable into the digibox and set it up to switch between Astra and Hotbird?

The Hotbird channels I'm mainly interested in are the RAI and Greek channels.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The digibox cannot operate a diseqc switch, so no go I'm afraid (unless you install a manual switch). Also you are limited to the number of channels you can manually add to the digibox (20 I think?) plus you can only receive 2 different SR's.

The digibox isn't going to sort out your problems I'm afraid. :(

Thanks for that. I was afraid that would be the answer! :(
A cheap digital FTA box shouldn't set you back more than EUR130 or less, I was in Germany a few months ago and saw one for EUR80 I think, the most basic of basics....

check some local suppliers:

somewhat lacking on prices....:
