Astra tuned but no BBC

Hi!
This is my first post after reading quite a lot and not being able to figure out what's wrong.

I have sucessfully installed other dishes but I'm puzzled with the one I'm doing now.
I can see Gold (110) & Dave (111) channels on the sky box however no BBC.
The transponder is 07dc on channel 999 and after a lot of moving I can't get it changed to 074d.
I have tried to reset/upgrade firmware (pressing backup on powerup), rebuild sky+, change box (already receiving all channels), manually find channels on transponder 11778V (with good signal but it goes back to 07dc)
Any advice welcomed (should I move the dish up?

It has received before the whole free sat from sky.
Not sure how to check if doing h/v or 22khz switching (on the setup is ON).
From the sat meter it showed the led for 22khz.

Coax is fine, it receives Dave and other channels

Checking a little further, I can get Dave, Pick, Home channels (in ASTRA 2E as far as I know) but no Channel 4 or Channel 4+1 which are in the same satellite but one is V and the other is H polarization.

From what you have told us it may be that one the polarities is down on your Lnb or the Lnb is not set up for a Universal Lnb 10750/11600 or 22K is not on Auto.

Do you know what should I check on the skybox?

It is a universal lnb, and worked for 4 years, so it may be broken?!?!

Not sure how to check if doing h/v or 22khz switching (on the setup is ON).

First set 22kHz at AUTO, as william-1 wrote.
Second: post all the other LNB-settings of your box. Then we can look for other possible causes.

It's a Skybox which, if I recall correctly, don't allow access to LNB parameters in order that the sheep cannot mess things up.

Yeah they do, there are LNB Settings.

Some settings you need to press buttons in a certain way to enter a "hidden" menu, thats for things like power on the RF modulator.
There might be some LNB settings like that, I can't remember. But you can change settings as some customers are multiplexed over quattros

LO frequencies
22khz on/off

How old is the Sky box ?

Sky box from 2010 but the culprit was the lnb.

I bought a new lnb, replaced and got signal straight away. Not sure what caused it but quite happy now.
