Not so scientific for me, but I entered the TP list in to my ancient Kaon an hour ago and detected signal on most of the TPs - but only one is locking for me.

That said, my TD110 isn't optimised right now, I still haven't bought a Black Ultra and it's blowing gale force out there to the extent I can see the dish/arm bouncing about.

Will look again when it's all calmed down!

2011-10-23 20.26.11.webphere in leeds i get this frequency from 201

i gotchannel master 1.2 with this i get about 325 but with my big dish 2.2 precision a get about 511 channel

I installed my CM 1.2m dish yesterday and scanned 7°w last night (not knowing AB7 had moved there and gone live).

I previously could only get 13 channels scanned in from this location with my old Triax 1.1m.

I managed to get 584 channels last night with the CM 1.2 and Inverto Black Ultra lnb.

That is without an updated frequency list for my Vu+ Duo.

Most coming in between 50 and 55% on H and V transponders.

martin123,
Can you conform any more 201 transponders, you get.
what about ..

12111.00 H 21 Middle-East DVB-S2 QPSK 27500 5/6 ?

Thanks TJ

( just doing a spider box blind scan, inital findings good, but VERY curious if any 201 come in,(as not received any before) i'm in Stoke on Trent more south than where you are, so if your picking something up them i'm keeping my fingers crossed.)

before switch to atlantic bird7 are you got 12169 V, 12245 V and 12265 H ?

Hi friends ..
Here's my humble offering ..
Not sure which are specific to AB7 ...
I just scanned 7West using black ultra single on the TD110 ....(currently bobbing about like a cork in the sea due to some fairly gusty winds) ....and the trusty TBS6925 and EBS..
Anyone want to update my list by identifying non AB7 transponders ...feel free ...
I've not scanned anything in yet channel wise ...so would prefere to delete the interlopers before transfering the transponder list to dvbviewer..

VS, you have some AB2 TP's in that list. In the EBS frequency scan box, restrict your TP's to AB7 and Nilesat to eliminate the AB2's -

10.700 to 10.950, 11.200 to 11.500, and 11.700 to 12.480 will tidy it up.

Thanks Llew ..
Figured there would be a few AB2s in there ;)
I'll sort out the rogues later
;)

before switch to atlantic bird7 are you got 12169 V, 12245 V and 12265 H ?

@solly
Yes, I´ve reached this three transponder before of course (Attached files from 22.10.11).

@adonis1
I made this screenshot too. (You can also check my reports on dishworld.de)

Please have a look on spectrum in my last two attached files. You can see 8 small Nilesat 201 transponder with the big others from Nilesat 101/102.
PS: The only Nilesat 201 transponder which I can´t lock is 11862 V.

Best Regards
qwer.

Haven't done a blind scan, don't have that option with my azbox, but just scanned each frequency manually, currently got 436 tv and 36 radio channels.

AtBird 4A is to be redeployed to 3E where she will be renamed Eutelsat 3C

Having completed its mission at 7 degrees West, the ATLANTIC BIRD™ 4A satellite is now released to continue full commercial service at another Eutelsat location. The satellite is being redeployed to 3 degrees East to address data and telecoms markets in Europe and South-West Asia. It will be called EUTELSAT 3C and will be colocated at 3 degrees East with EUTELSAT 3A.

3E might get rather interesting in the not too distant future :D
