Sound pioneer Ray Dolby has died aged 80 after a long illness.
Inventor of noise reduction systems for cinema (Dolby 'A') and home sound recording and playback for cassette players (Dolby 'B').
Not forgetting Dolby HX/HX Pro, Dolby SR, Dolby Digital Surround EX, Dolby AC3 and True HD audio Codecs!
