This has been mentioned on on of the fringe reception threads but I cant see a general mention. Badr 6 is in trouble - it suffered a failure of some sort in the last couple of days

can anyone in the service area confirm if Badr 6 has been successfully restarted?

Shes still on station & doesnt appear to be drifting to any great degree so it must be an electrical (power generation?) failure

No true, all seems back to normal, at least at my place. See report here.
Including C band:

But is it coming off Badr 6 or has the traffic been swapped to one of the co located birds?

No real idea what the 26E situation is - this far north the availability of 26E has always been very limited. (Badr4 & once one single tp off Es'hail 1 - and its been a long time since Ive had any success with Badr4)

For me, all frequencies are more than 2 dB weaker. Other Badres in normal.

Considering that only BADR-6 carries C-band transponders the answer is pretty obvious.
But there is indeed noticable decrease in power in 12GHz tps here.

Hardly waiting for BADR 8.:-welcome1

Since July, Badr 6 is being allowed to become inclined, almost 0.2° now.
Badr 8 will come to the rescue, but will take a few months to reach GEO, be tested, and ready to go.
In the graph below, note the slight impact of the event back in February.
