hi there --
i,v had channels from badr 6 now and again -- but only in very clear weather conditions -- using a 1.8 channel master offset dish with inverto c120 lnb + feedhorn -- location u.k north west yorkshire
a bigger dish is needed for any kind of regular and stable picture

what channels were you trying for in particular - and what frequency ?

below some screenshots from around new year

I'm in the South near London.

I've heard conflicting reports of people getting Badr 4/6/MBC/Fox with an 80cm dish?

Can anyone confirm..

MBC's are possible on an 80cm if you are really lucky, but a good 1m needed really, no chance of either Fox series or Fox movies though. Only had the MBCs on one 80cm and that was the Fortec Star labelled as 90cm, actually only approx 80cm, there may be others of course.

Okay, I was looking at exactly the same dish from Maplin.. 90cm Fortec

But it will be profesionally fixed to a wall and installed by an independant sat installer (I'm crap at finding weak sats) - so hopefully MBC suitable!

I said possible on an 80cm (like if you had the dish already and wanted to have a bash at it), but not advisable to go out and buy one and pay an installer. A 1m at least is needed.

Okay, so I will therefore get a 1 meter dish for MBC

But seeing as I am going this far.. what dish size is needed for Fox in the UK?

Fox Series is receivable with a 1m on 7W, Fox movies needs a lot bigger, like 1.8m ( works even with rain or snow).

As for 26E, I don't know, I used to get them on my 1m, but they moved beams.
