BADR C ( Old Arabsat)

Halo Everyone,

I`am getting conflicting answers from different sources,so please help out.

What size dish would I require to be able to receive BADR @ 26E.
Satcodx : 9m >> Which i think is a bit strange?
LyngSat :+- 1.8m
Arabsat Site : +- 1.8m

I have a Gospell 55db C-band Lnb

Hi,

Let me give some additional info of where I live and so.

My Co ordinates are :28deg 4min 3Sec South ; 25deg 40min 36sec East.These are the ones for where the pole is standing.

Now if you look at the Lyngsat map attached you will see that I market the spot on the map where I`am.

Hope this makes it more clear?

You need a 1.9m antenna at least.

Hello!

here,are some Picutures,of Eurobird 2 25,5 East,
Signal Strenth with Fibo 1,25 Antenna,Signal is Stronger,in night,then on day Time!

for the weakest signal,only 30% on some transponder,i usining my homecast hd 5101 ci,with very good tuner,for low signals,much better,then kaon,and xtreme,my new reverence

the 11661 H Mega Tv 27500 3/4

and 11633 H 14470 3/4, i have now signal,with fibo Antenna, 1,80 m Dish is,nesecary ,to reseive this transponder!
was swiched on 2 weeks ago,would be very intresting,maybe someone can reseive it,with 3 meter dish in uk?

I finally got BADR C-band!

I described the whole prcedure in the Setup area of the Forum. (I didnt think it this was the right section to post it?)
