Hi m8's ...
If you've been following my recent dish exploits ...you will know I have a most satisfactory outcome to my dish situation ..with only one niggling problem ..
A tree which robs me of 36 East to 60 East ...
I think I may well have solution which will satisfy me and the tree huggers ..
below is a picture of my 'cunning plan'
My old dad lives just 3 houses away in the same terrace ..
and will require a little persuading ..
plus ..I shall have to ask my two neighbours in between ..if they would mind a single cable run under the gutter between our 2 houses ..
They are usually pretty cool about stuff ..and know I'm totally mad anyway ...so hopefully wont be an issue..
My main worry is the length of cable run required ...
It looks like it could be around 35 mtres in total ...
Is this too long a run ...considering there will eventually be a diseqc motor on the end of it ?

AAAArgh!! don't get me started on drains ...
Had a blockage under my dads property about 3 weeks ago ....
I had to dig down about 1m ...to expose part of the drain ....then open it up and rod it out ...
He now has a small inspection pit and cover ...just in case it happens again .
I hate jobs involving shyte ....but it had to be done.

Well there you go --------- Just run the long coax cable in the drain! :-flash
 
if ur signals weak then just increase the csa(cross sectional area) of the cable .......try using rg11 that will work great... but i think ur be fine any how....
