Well after over a year gathering bird muck and dirt I have finally decided to sort it out.Dish safe and sound with me now.
Will check it all goes together and order some new bolts and get it sprayed up the same as my current one, hopefully the neighbours won't notice the small increase in size
Just gave it a quick wash down.
My plan is to strip it down. Sand down, undercoat and paint the dish using the same spray paint my other dish was done with. The same treatment for the dish support on the rear.
Sand down and hammerite the feedarms and LNB holder black.
I have replacement zinc coated nuts and bolts and a brand new LNB ready to go.
The old dish is in a sorry state
I will post a picture when it's sorted.

i painted my triax 1.1 in the mid 2000's, i used to work in the car respray trade. It still looks brand new nearly 20 years later. used matt additive in the clearcoat. Constantly crapped on by birds. The paint and materials were way more than the dish was worth. Couldnt image doing the same thing again today with aerosols.
