Is this an admission that the IRTE polarmount is the worst in the world ?
For one contract in 1988 before realising their error, trounced in spades by the young pretender from Anne Hathaway's back garden.

I did bid up to 100 quid but no more, since I have no room, nor planning permission for it.

Looks to be

The backplate does stop short of the lowest point of the reflector, which I've not seen before. This might be a Raven/Skyware adaption to allow all manner of feedarm supports (including a subreflector), since there are predrilled bolt holes in the steel at the right point.

Anyhow the reflector does look like it is in very good condition.

Yes. - nice indeed .... as an owner of one of these ... i can say they are not like the flimsy modern petaled dishes you normally see on ebay ... they are "heavy duty".

No - Not as heavy as the Fiberglass Channel Master ........ But heavier than you would expect - the petals are made of a 2 mm thick alloy ..... the support ring and polar mount is made of very substantial steel - mine has a AZ/EL mount and its heavy ... Member "Vipersan" has the polar mount on his .. identical to the ebay one ... and i can say it is very robust when seen up close.
I notice the k/u feed is not in the pictures of the ebay one ? ... but both myself and Vipersan converted them to take C band l.n.b,s with good results i must say.
Mine is currently stored away - but will go back into use at some point i,m sure.

Another petal dish, brand new with some tasty accessories.
The actuator and Jaeger 1224 look handy but the seller is living in dreamland with a starting bid of £1200.

There is a buy it now option so it might sell for less than the dreamlevel price.

It would be a nice buy at around the £500 mark for the Jaeger motor, the superjack actuator and the ribbon cable.
Collect that lot and leave the rest behind.

Blimey, that's a pristine looking 1224! Will need all the hardened up grease re-greasing but nice find.

Alcoa went for £43.00 ...... A good restoration project for someone ..... Would have paid more than that for the polar mount alone ... If it had been in the North of England !

Ultra good value, the rust on the mount is worth £50.
Hands up, anyone on here buy it?

A spanking new 1.2m Prodelin with feed, OMT and supports, Cambrideshire collect.

Not sure how they might connect two quattro LNBs to the transducer but hey-ho, a veritable bargain.

Very nice. It looks like it's got a TX filter on the feed. I don't know if that OMT covers the RX band on both ports.
