Do ask the sellers what it was designed for. Maybe micro-moonbounce or something like that??
From the pic it looks like the words ASTRA is written on it so I'd guess sat tv reception.

New-old-stock CM 1.0/1.2 polar mount (grey, and from the US):

Ebay: 253418437609
Thanks @st1 for posting this. It's on it's way to my home by courier. It escaped my search because he used "Bracket" in the title. I'm lucky to have 2 CM 1.2's to choose from to put on it. ("Winston (for Winston Churchill) or "Mr. Spock" ..... Winston Churchill I'm thinking since the CM polar mounts are so popular in the UK :D ) I'm still going to put up my Winegard Pinnacle 3.0M micromesh for ku-band only. That will leave my Andrew 3.0M for C-band only. And I still have to put my Prodelin 1.8M on a proper polar mount. I guess I might have to change my Avatar to the Andrew lightning bolt logo now?

Geez I just realized I have to come up with two more names for my c-band dishes :-doh. "Elisha" (for Elisha Cuthbert ) was my Channel Master 3.0M fiberglass, "Rhona" (for Rhona Mitra ) was my Yugoslavian made MZT-304 3.0M mesh, both of which are retired from active service now . hhhhmmmm..... I'll have to ponder this over some beer. Maybe one of my favorite Bond girls ?

"damaged in a few places"...
It looks like something pulled out of a WW1 trench!?!

And theres' no polar mount...
It's coming home and fortunately not too much damage. There is a few bits around the rim mainly where it was dropped but nothing that cannot be sorted and a good coat of paint needed.

Nice one that was a bargain
Thought it was worth a gamble just for the stand and LNB holder but glad to see it was not too badly damaged. The gent selling it had it suspended from the ceiling in the garage but dropped it getting it down for the photos.

Brilliant value, absolute stonker of a bargain. If you were to buy the equivalent stand head mount, Ku Feed, Ku C120 adapter and feed support arms from Elite Antennas you would be looking close to the thick end of a bag of sand.

Apart from the feed support arms, the parts I have listed above can be used for any Precision dish size between 1.2m and 2.4m (subject to the 2.4m having the 600mm mounting ring) Very useful spares to have, well done.

I considered taking a chance on this dish myself ... as it was not too far away from me - but was away from home - walking in the Lake District at the bidding end time. .... no regrets though, as i have enough dish projects that are waiting to be started - l.o.l.
Pleased that its gone to someone on here ... look forward to seeing it being used at some point :)

Regards ...
