Batten Down The Hatches 2017/18

Blowing a gale here, was meant to die down in speed for 11pm but still sounds & looks as bad as earlier.
 
Well we woke up to it freezing hard following the constant rain last night, it is white over here and still snowing, expecting 2-3 cms
 
I often wake up to find it hard, but our snow isn't really settling on the roads, albeit the trees look pretty.

Very few howls of impending doom from the Southern Broadcasting Corporation yet.

It is very sunny at the moment, but annoyingly cold.
 
Out the wind its been lovely in the sun today. I had my office window open most of the afternoon :D

I hope you don't actually buy the "Daily Depression" - the "Daily Wail" is bad enough (unfortunately, SMWBO demands we get it, and so I do "peruse" it :rolleyes:) !

I avoid any rag, noticed it online
 
I try not to look at online versions of newpapers and especially those two mentioned above. The Express has been carrying dire warnings of 'snowmageddon' for a few years now. They used to obtain their forecasts from the brother of a certain political party leader.......

I tend to stick my head outside the door....if it comes back dry, it isn't raining...

WOW it snowed here tonight, (about 10 mm) but it snowed........Damm global warming.
 
I see there is an amber warning for heavy snow in London on Tuesday - no doubt it'll be reported as if its the end of the world by the news channels! Whilst of course the rest of us carrfy on as normal in the winter :D
