Just had a phone call to say a company won't be attending here today to repair something due to dangerous weather and they won't put engineer at risk. I said we have had a couple of centimetre and suddenly the whole country stops, in other countries they are either prepared or carry on in much worse conditions. He got really shirty with me and said I'm not going to argue with you and I don't have to be spoken to like that. What I can't even make a comment these days? How is that even arguing.

This morning, look at the wheelie bins across the road in the side path, it's like one big rectangular lump of snow across the top lol

Probably just having a bad day and passing his frustration onto you the bell end.
 
My new TV was supposed to be delivered today at 3pm, I somehow think it will not be as it has started blowing a snowy gale once again

If it's Yodel that's delivering it to you they will probably fall back on their delivery catapult they have for times like this, same standard of delivery results lol
 
Blotty hell!

Just been clearing access to the road and removing snow from the car.

The snow and slush SWMBO picked up on the way home last night has frozen in the wheel arches, jamming the wheels and coil springs.

Good job she decided to stay home today as trying to move the car in that state would have caused much damage.
 
Havemnt even bothered digging our car out as there are 3 foot snowdrifts across the farm track

Part of the "problem" seems to be that the temperatures have been around freezing point, but going up and down very quickly - the snow/slush melts to water as the temps go up and then freeze as they drop again (happened on the roof of the car on Tuesday night with ice under the snow, and then I had icicles forming from the sills under the doors after we went out and came back yesterday morning!)

It's annoying me this weather, it's a bit inconsiderate.
I'm still going to go up the ladder and fiddle with me dish however!

Yeah, was supposed to be going to the tip...... at xmas that LOL

Just off out now to try and recover my Brothers car. :rolleyes:

Oh I only wish the muddy Severn looked like that at least at some point.
