You and "your Viking lot" can pillage all you want but keep it all inside t'republic - venture out of that, and the human race will take its revenge (and thus, quite soon afterwards, "t'republic" will be an "ex-republic") :D

It'll be all that "rape and plunder" that you'll be after! :-rofl2
Not at the nearest supermarket.

The next village has a Morrisons that might be up for it, but it's upstream.

Spiff's replacement wall bracket test.

Strong winds and heavy rains are expected to first hit the Isles of Scilly on Thursday evening, before spreading over to Cornwall in the early hours of Friday, the Met Office said.
The gustiest of winds, at 75mph (121km/h), could be expected in the county's "most exposed coastal spots".

Today's rain started here around 5am and so far it has been continuous.

I discovered a - new - leak in the flat roof yesterday, not enough water coming in currently to warrant climbing up there.

If there are early winter storms approaching we should have a new thread.

Last couple of days we've got some snow. Then, some kind of red alert was announced in the capital as there was too much snow and traffic had too many jams. Of course, it is not a problem to drive 4x4 but still slow when you have those snails around. Now it continues to snow. What can I say.... winter.
