After all the shi* thats being thrown after the GTMedia forum abandoning all the firmware downloads still nice to see that the Combo tuner is sensitive and we can here (Alicante) still receive the BBC SATBACK frequency 11045 V 44099.

I bought a GTMedia V7 Pro a few days ago for 30 Euro shipped. It was the curiosity to see what this price can deliver.
I was surprised by S2X support (not tested, yet), the really good blindscan, PLP support (tested with Albertis) and DVB-T/T2.
The receiver responds quickly and works.
For this price it is pretty good as a backup receiver.
I think they are being sold this cheap because GTMedia strategically decided to withdraw from the receiver market.
Regarding support, one cannot expect too much. The manufacturer normally uses standard designs from the SoC manufacturer, who provides the SDK and sample implementation, too.
