Sorry folks, just had to show off. Working fine on DM800 HD.
SNR is normally 100% but it's light rain here. The signal is pretty much as strong as 28.2!

Hi Hixxy1 - thanks for posting part of the answer to my question already as you are showing one of the MPEG4 channels. Can you tell me what tuner you have in your DM800 as they generally seem to be arround the following spec:

Frequency Range 950 .... 2150 MHz
Demodulation DVB-S (QPSK), DVB-S2 (8PSK, QPSK)
Symbol rate DVB-S: 2 ... 45 Mbaud / s, SCPC / MCPC
DVB-S2: 10 to 31 Mbaud / s (8PSK), 10 -30 Mbaud / s (QPSK)

I wonder if I have a gap in my understanding of the way I should interpret SRs for QPSK or the way I am reading L**gsat?

hardware ver 01.20.rm ptc ok
march 29 2012.
is it just a matter of trying the different firmwares or is there one
i should be looking for.

Bricked my Skybox F3 after setting Encryption Flags in the Channel Edit Tool !

(Now recovered, fortunately - but my experiment is definitely at and end ..........................)

@blindfaith,i am a bit confused about,
The BISS ca_descriptor 0x2600 is also missing.
if this was missing would i not be able to add the biss keys in the
revelent section.
How to add Biss keys
Go to Menu - Key Edit -Press OK - CAS Type > BISS

Press add (yellow button) - add the frequency of the channel and then put the keys on the key data pressing OK

Exit -Save -OK

Save again -OK -Exit.

Wait for channel clear

I had already installed a special version of operating system to allow me to enter the BISS keys (which was a doddle to install), but no it took minutes.

Has anyone found any other receivers besides Technomate 5402HD and Dr HD F15 (and I guess F16) that will open these channels? I'm thinking about replacing the old DB 500, SD. I think that its had its day.

I'm using the new version Alps tuner but I've read that older BCM tuner also works.

going to order a technomate 5402 hd tomorrow from am*zon.
have noticed on other sites theres a
tm 5402hd super ci+
tm 5402hd super+pvr
tm 5402hd.
are all these receivers the same receiver but just advertised differently.
i dont want to end up buying the wrong model.
the one on am*zon is just advertised as tm 5402 hd,
will this be ok to open these bbc channels.

Vu + Uno (100%) and propably VU + Ultimo.

hello,humaxboy,i have just ordered a tm5402hd,
i failed on a spiderbox 9000 hd,but a have a vu+ solo,
so will give that some testing this evening,will have to
read up on how to enter the biss keys.also did you use
a channel editor for the vu+uno to change anything.

Works fine on vu+ Duo, Uno and Ultimo, also been told working fine on Solo.

How to get it opening on Dreambox 7020HD?

I inserted the pids manually (Video,audio and PCR) with dvbedit program but channels don't clear. Can annibody help?

..you don't have to add pids manually. A channels search will automatically set the correct parameters. But you need an image with a working emu. Can't help you with that ;)
