will bbc4 collect the stuff from bbc3 & get rid of children programs?

No - the target audience of BBC3 is mainly online (although BBC3 was bought back as a linear channel after the viewing figures tanked last time it was put online only).

They lost the youth audience by closing BBC Three the first time, and they didn't come back after they aged out. And the kids that were growing to the age that BBC Three targeted had nowhere to go for a long time. Massive mistake to have done it the first time, and now they're going after more people to pay the licence fee because young people aren't paying it because they don't use it.

So, are they going to keep children channels,or put up a channel for 60+? The people who watch TV...

Don't care how they reduce it, but the BBC empire has become way too large, it's the largest in the world and shouldn't be. 22,000 employees is ridiculous as is the amount of channels, given that even a lot of the older population can and do access catchup TV and streaming services. 1792578289382.webp

I no longer watch live TV and don't pay the licence fee, I watch a bit of catchup tv, "no BBC", news on streamed radio, plus films and tv series on Amazon Prime and dip in and out of Netflix, subscribing for around four out of every twelve months.

young people don't watch linear Tv. they gave up on the BBC because the content is relatively shit

They already have 2 childrens channels, (daytime only) - these will be kept at least for the time being. No chance at all of any new channel launches - the BBC have to make £500million in savings in the next 2 years.

That slur is not just attributable to the BBC, the licence covers all sorts of rubbish that can get the detector vans triggered.

Or is it just down to postcode and an address to send a letter to ?
