BBC HD Problem

Just tried BBC HD on Astra-2D (28.2E), 10847V, 22000, and with good signal quality, 90%, I get just sound - but no picture. My receiver is a Fortec Star Passion. I used to receive it with no problem.

Radio Times lists programmes that will be transmitted in HD.

Moved my dish to Astra-1 (19.2E), and I could receive several HD channels with no problem.

I then nudged my dish away from 19.2E till the signal quality fell from 92% to 65% with no loss of HD reception. At 63-60% SQ I lost the picture and the sound.

Conclusion - the BBC have messed up.

Or have I got it wrong?

Is anybody able to receive BBC HD?

maybe,your reveiver,needs a sofware upgrade!
when,the soft is to old,bbc also make problems,in the past on the first humax reveivers that hit the market,the picture was pixeleized,sound okay!,maybe bbc,does not exactly use,the same resultion standart then other hd channels,and some reveivers,are not fully compatible,iam not sure yet,maybe fortec star,stop support,on older models,so there could be no new software,i dont know!

Your reply pushed me to investigate further - I found that the PIDs were wrong. So I deleted the transponder, then reentered it and scanned it.
Now works fine.
