2 sky subscriptions: sky+ and a second normal box.
2 FTA: astra 2 and hotbird.
using the quad LNB of sky+, sky and astra 2 FTA and a second
1.2m dish for hotbird

i'm new to all this and need help understanding cams.

what they do?
how are they used?
which cam is the best?


anything to do with cam. in as simple language as possible.

I would also like to ask anyone out there "Is there a CAM that stands out as being more versatile than the rest (for the widest range of encryption types)??" or are they much of a muchness??
and is there one that would suit my Technomate 5500 dapci the most... or dosnt it matter??

how do i find out which type of card i need to use?

is there a website where i can check prices of cams, cards and programmers?

the reveiver i have is a triax 262 dvb75 via access cam.

well thats what i was told. couldn't check myself because i'm in college and not at home during the week.
