Hello,

At the moment with my 80 cm dish based in north east England i can get about 30% signal on things like the Megasport channel, the arabic ones on 26 east (arabsat), and also some difficult to pick up Hispasat adult ones like Telinea,
i would imagine another 10% signal quality would allow my to pick theese up,(any seen the football on theese ?) so would a 100 cm dish do the trick please ? and any recommendations on which make of dish please ?
i presume it would also improve my signal if i want to subscribe to the digitalb package which is on a weak transponder.

Tim

The Gibertini 1m dish, now called the 104cm is a very good dish. Nice and light, aluminium, with good galvanised steel fittings.
The bigger the dish the better for the weaker transmissions.

The Triax TDA 110 just beats the Gibertini, but the Gibertini is a lot more beautiful in my opinion, don't know if you care about that.

Gibertini OP 100L outside dimensions 97x104

Triax TDA 110 100x105

think about a good lnb as well. to optimize the system ,there is only one
very good one: the invacom 0,3 db!!! this combined even with o,80 will
already show results!!! with 1.10 it is espectacular.
buy a good dish in spain . look it up under ciberland.com
ciao

thanks for the replies, cant quite make my mind up on which one for the dish but good tip on the lnb, i wouldnt have thought of that,
cheers Tim

Invacom is heavy but slow.....

There are better LNBs out there today that will give you better performance.

Can u explain whats wrong with Invacom and what woukld be better?

There is nothing wrong with the Invacom. It's an excellent LNB for a reasonable price. The MTI Blue Line 0.3 is virtually as good IMHO, and costs peanuts.
