I,m after improving my signal quality on my 2.4m dish for showtime reception..
i currently get 24/7 reception but during the winter rainfall lose 11996h reception, but verticals unnafected regardless of weather....
i am currently using an invacom single lnb...tried the inverto..but invacom a lot better
but i have read on some posts that the quad invacom is a lot better??...if this is so...what kind of signal quality gain may i have over the single version??....and also would a larger scaler ring help also???
i,m also gonna change my tm5400 non super for a super model to get that better low threshold...

Not much choice really. Invacom or Inverto white tech. Also Inverto have just released a new flange LNB called the Black Pro. I'd wait for performance reports on that LNB before you spend the money.

Re: single or quad Invacom, I've read that a lot too but have not found anything in the field that backs it up, (i.e. when doing comparison test with a proper signal meter). I think the performance increase people see is probably due to changing an LNB that is several years old and under performing for a brand new one.

Villach: Invacom Quad QDF-031 C120 flange LNB, CM feedhorn, Pace 2600C1, Humax Foxsat HDR+HD, 1.5m Gilbertini dish. Reception is very good during daytime. Better than 50% quality, 80% strength on Humax meters. After midnight I can get some blocking o

I tested a various feed horn and LNB combinations on my 1.5m Gilbertini dish. Here are the results:

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

LNB aside, any feed that is designed for an offset dish has absolutely no relevance to the prime focus system installed/owned by terriers.

I put the invacom quad on over my twin and got a few more % but that may be because my twin was older and the quad is brand new
