best dreambox for me ?

hi, looking to buy a dreambox,and am not sure of which one to go for,as i am new to dreambox i would like to take the most safe option,till i learn more,dreambox does not have to be hd,but would like it to be setup and ready to go if this is possible,i have a basic satellite setup,and ok understanding of computers.i have seen some for sale like this dreambox dm800 hd pro for £150 plus a small fee to setup and update so its ready to go,would this be a good option.any advice on what box and where to buy would be much appreciated.

This sounds more like you want to join a private server, for illegal card sharing, than learn about the numerous options this satellite hobby, and dreamboxes, provide. I suggest you do a lot of reading, especially in the Dreambox section, and have a look at what a reasonably sized motorized dish can provide.

hi,if my post sounds like i was asking for illegal info,i am sorry,this was not my intention.as there is a lot of dreamboxes for sale out there i thought asking here for advice on what to buy and where would be ok,until i learn more, i did not want to buy a dreambox and not be able to even view any free to air channels,and end up looking at a blank screen.but will do as you say and read up.
 
Dreamboxes are enthusiasts set top boxes, they do not normally work out of the cardboard box, they have to be flashed, configured and tweeked all of which requires a steep learning curve. The problem is that many people buy DB's then cannot be bothered learning about them end up getting frustrated then dump them on ebay, they may or may not be working which is a chance everyone takes with ebay.
