I don't know what you mean by this but it is certainly not true they only have USALS. Setup is a piece of cake. Wod, as far as the receiver is concerned there is no difference between a DiSEqC 1.2 motor and a v-box controlled motor. In both cases the receiver sends a position number up the co-ax to be interpreted by whatever controls the motor. With the v-box it is even easier though because you can use your remote to store the positions and then transfer them to the receiver afterwards. That means if you have a meter with spectrum you can sweep across the arc with the v-box with the meter connected (not the receiver) and whenever you hit a satellite store the position in the v-box. Then all you have to do is transfer those position numbers to the tuner config of the receiver.wod said:huevos, is that method also used for 36volt motors using a vbox to the vu+ duo ?
I was just saying what I think is the easiest way to do it... but... if you only have the Duo and a new motor you just do: menu -> setup -> service searching -> positioner setup. Then you enter the details of your reference transponder and go east/west until you hit it. Then you give it a number and save it.
