best keys required

My Satellite Setup
laptop windows xp, wireless 3g router, dreambox 500s, gemini image.
My Location
alicante spain.
i need abit more advice (pushed in the right direction so to speak.
I running gemini with cccam 2.0.11 Question is what do i need to do next im pointing at astra 28 and nilesat101/102 what can i reasonably expext t get. What else do i need to have, Keys etc.
Im very new to this so would running a key loader be advisable.
Bear in mind ive only just installed cccam and a complete novice willing to learn.
 
You can forget opening anything from 28E with keys - cant be done.

If the Hacksat key updater is available off the add on menu use that one. Use the Satankey Updater with extreme care - if it cant contact the server for any reason its got a nasty habit of trashing the image in use.- (at least on my 7020 it has)
 
sorry to be a pest il look for the hacksat one and give the satankey a miss its taken me a long time to get this far and dont want to mes things up. what can i expect to get with hacksat i.e on nilesat or would i be better pointing at something else. (showtime would be brilliant but i cant imagine getting something that good for free) Is there any way of getting discovery or nat geographics.
 
Showrtime is available on some cards, not sure if its on keys. Theres actually very little open on keys at the moment.
 
ok thanks so what would be the best way forward for me to get more free tv. should i point at difrent sats or what would you advise analoguesat i notice your from scotland im in spain but originaly from stirling. Thanks again for your help im finding this sat thing interesting. Most brits in spain are looking at sat tv in a big way as the local rebrodcasing companies are being shut down and even if i could aford it sky wont sell me a subscription because i dont have a uk address.
 
I lived west of Stirling for three years before I moved to the Borders. (I worked on the Central Action charity show on Central FM for a year :) )

If you are desperate for a Sky subscription just set up an accomodation address in London - you can buy them reasonably cheaply.
 
If you can get 1W where you are there are a few channels on there that might open with Hacksat (or did the last time I looked).
 
I agree 0.8 west quite open with softcam and keys+hacksat keydownloader is better than satankeys.
