Yes, for sure, it can be fitted to some dishes. But not all of them, f course. There are couple of examples where this holder not fit IMG_20150727_123523 (Medium).jpg IMG_20150828_185603 (Medium).jpg . Besides, it is seems to be heavier than 100 grams, has too many separate parts and little bit bulky.... that is my IMHO again. Perhaps that 8mm U-bolt little bit overkill for tiny plastic body of the LNB.
And, as for me, it would be not so easy to fabricate (not so easy as mine design).
But, why not, it can work on some dishes.
