I have found TM5302 HD at web store. How do i know it is 1st edition ?
If I remember correctly the early ones had component video output (red/green/blue RCA connectors) which was removed on the later smaller version.

Edit: incorrect, see post #38

why do you want a 1st edition specifically?

Why would anyone want any edition, no channel editor, awful menus to work with, ancient kit !
If ancient kit is on the buy list then a Dr HD F15 would be a better choice in my opinion, sensitive tuner, good channel editor, friendly menus and can "see" signals that are present but below the level required for a lock.

The serial number should offer a clue on the year and month of manufacture. I recall Clarke-Tech had an almost identical model in their range.

Most TM stb and Clarke tech were the same, Dr hd was same as TM 5402.

Thanks you very much for your reply. I already have Dr HD F15 , Vu+Ultimo 4K , Icone Irone plus , vu+ duo , vu+ duo2 , DM600, echolink atomo 4K . I live in northern Sweden . I have echostar predelin 120 cm dish + inverto black , super jack , ultra LNB . Testing weak transporder on ( 21E , 3E , 26 E ) . I always got best signal on :
1. Icone Irone plus .
2.vu + ultimo 4K .
3.vu+ duo2
4. No lock on other receivers .
Some transporters I got lock on Icone Irone plus , but not stable picture. No lock on other receivers . I thought may be i get better results with TM 5302 HD .

You'll get much better results with a bigger dish than a slightly more sensitive receiver.

For what it's worth I find the GTMedia V8 UHD & V9 Prime to be more sensitive than the SX88/Primo.

Do you mean same serial number or same runner sensitivity?

Tell me another receiver that will display dB signal level readings for those frequencies that are below a lock level, a very useful tool when hunting weak signals?
Add in to the requirements an easy to edit channel/satellte database and with user friendly menus - result, you are back at the fabled Dr HD F15.

it was more of a question than a statement mate, but if @newstar1974 is saying he gets signal on receivers that the Dr HD F15 cannot, then that has to be acknowledged.

Sure, there are definitely receivers out there that can get signals that the Dr HD F15 cannot get. After all, it is not capable of DVB-S2X, 16APSK or 32APSK.
However, for weak signal levels within its scope, its sensitive tuner and ability to display signal levels that are below a lock level make it my daily receiver for extreme fringe DX'ing.

If you want to try out a Dr HD F15 I have one over 'ere that is not getting much use at the moment.
It is not for sale but if you wanna pop over to collect it you are welcome to borrow it for a few weeks to give it a test drive.

The TM5402HD as manic 01 has pointed out is the same as Dr HD they are all Hubtech clones.
Dr HD F15 & TM M3 are also Hubtech clones with slight variations but the hardware & software is the same.
Both display dB signal level readings on low signals.

The TM5302HD has a spectrum analyser that shows all the activity in the Ku & C bands.
