How do you fancy this in your back garden?? Its just appeared in Guatamala after heavy rains.

Saves hiring a digger if a basement (or twenty) are needed.

How deep is it, (and more importantly, where did the earth go ?)
 
It looks like something you would see on April 1st, but it seems t be real. How terrifying!
 
Just seen the helicoper moving camera shot of this. And it really is a fe*king big hole.

Something similar occurred three years ago as well, frightening.

60 feet across and around 300 feet deep.

Interesting video CH, but at 1min 18 secs in, a military type guy activated a TNT detonation plunger thingy (sorry for the technical explanation). However, I neither heard or saw an explosion??? Is this the cause of the hole? We may never know!!

Probably to break apart a dangerous section left overhanging, similar to what they do in avalanche areas.
