I have an Echostar 3000, 80cm solid dish and a TV.

I have just been watching TV8 on Turksat 42east. At kickoff (Tottenham v Arsenal) the screen went black and it came up with Scrambled.

I understand that the transmission is encrypted in BISS, I have found codes but have no idea how to insert them into the echostar.

Do I need any cams etc?

You cant insert them into an Echostar directly - theres virtually nil patch software available for the Echostars. You would need to buy a Dragon cam or similar.

Damn thats bad news.

Dragon cams aren't cheap either. What about a Matrix cam?

Two solutions, for Biss, with your receiver are, any Dragon Cam, even the older versions, or the Diablo Cam. You could also consider getting a cheap Technomate 1000 series receiver.
If you already have a Matrix Cam there are files around for the D+ package.

Loads of films and some premiership footy as well as German, and a lot of it in English.
Well worth having.

PS. You can pick up a Technomate 1000D for £60 which will do the job.

Also on D+, is Fox, Sci Fi, Calle 13, and many other channels showing American series, including House, Prison Break, Babylon 5, Blade, Stargate, both Atlantis and original, and lots more, all with English soundtrack.
