Blu Ray player with hard drive

I would like advice on which blu ray player to purchase which has a hard drive that allows me to record programmes on my cable package.I do not want to buy a Blu Ray recorder like new Panasonic ones as they are so expensive and would prefer a hard drive with a series link facility & EPG.There are a lot of Freeview + boxes on the market,yet can you buy a Blu Ray player + HD with similar capability?Thanks

It sounds as though what you want is only available subbed from your provider ..
ie ..a V+ box
