im looking for a couple of bluecaps so i can modify them to 10ghz tx for atv use.
if you have any please post here.
thanks Clinton

Bluecaps always were 10GHz operation

You are also in Australia which makes sending from here either expensive , or slow.

Not wanting to muddy the waters, but the only thing I can think of that requires a 10GHz LNB for a land-based microwave link is to have it as part of a pirate radio transmitter....

I won't go into any more detail than that though, cos it's very much not legal...

ATV - Amateur Radio TV.

Old bluecaps are what we use for 10gHz ATV transmitters. _http://www.qsl.net/pa3gco/zelfbouw/blauwkap/bluecap.html Most of the pirate links I've seen seem to be based around traffic light sensors lol

its quite fast the postage because i brought from the UK before. ill have to see whats on offer here and then post back if there isnt anything here. ATV is quite common in UK on 10ghz because ive seeen youtube videos on this/?

It might be worth asking on the BATC forum, maybe some enterprising amateur on there has stockpiled them? _http://www.batc.org.uk
