Boot-up Problem

Dreambox dm800
My Location

Has anyone else had this problem
I have a dreambox800 hdpvr It's been working brill up on till a few weeks ago
Now sometimes when I turn on the box in the mornings the blue screen with the map on it just stays there for ages sometimes for an hour then it just comes on, you still get the tv guide and the free channels
Can anyone help please

Reflashing the 800 will help sort out this problem. Follow the tut's in the Dreambox section just be sure to flash it with the correct image ie Ferrari image or sim2.01 etc if it's a clone box.

I got the box from a fela ages a go he done all the flashing and stuff I haven't got a clue how to do it mate
Every time I phone him he don't wana no, but the box works perfect only for this last few weeks so I don't wana f** it rite up lol.................:-ohcrap:-ohcrap:-ohcrap
 
Please write in proper sentences on this forum Gerard1888 - we dont allow txtspk here.

You need to learn how to flash the box - follow the instructions you have been given carefully and you will flash the box fine.
 
Sorry about that mate. But I'm lucky I can turn a laptop on that's how bad I am at stuff like this
I'll try my best to pick it up here as I go along

Until Admin enable the feature, you can't - and they'll all be doing Family Time or Down The Pub tonight!

Just wait a little while and one will see this and respond.

When they have, just click on Chris76 User Name and the option will appear in a drop down list.
 
Can anyone tell me if you can leave the dreambox on all nite
I don't want to turn it off by the wall incase I can't get it back on
But i don't want it to go in fire either lol
 
OK Pms activated however I would like to say this is highly irregular as any information to correct this problem should be available to all forum members and therefore request that the solution be posted in this thread when the problem is overcome.
