My Satellite Setup
1.2 metre dish
Amstrad dx90 sky+ h.d box
My Location
stockholm
hi all does anyone know how to reset a box ?. I have tried to do a full system reset without avail. The problem is my sky+ does not work and i cannot access my hard drive

I had this problem and my + box was stuck on stand-by, i downloaded software update and this cleared the problem,

press backup, switch off at wall socket, switch on, release backup when all display lights are illuminated, screen message says "do not switch off etc, etc

Thanks dave i have already tried that twice, still does not work. Any other tips ?
 
turn box off by mains
hold down left and right buttons on front off box
turn box on by mains wait for the play light
then press select on front off box
and let go off buttons
wait 10 mins
this will wipe the full system
and restore the box
