Bungalow setup in north-west

Hello all,

I'm looking at installing a dish to get "Thai TV Global" (Hotbird 6) as well as a few other FTA channels on Astra 28.2E, on a motor.

The problem is I'm in a bungalow and there's no viable mount point on the roof. There is the garage located at the back of the property which is about 2 meters hight.

According to the calculator I should be able to clear the roof of the house but I'm hoping to get someone to confirm this before proceeding with buying any equipment.

I've attached a pic to better detail the problem.

Any advice is appreciated.

Cheers,

Ash

Looks like it should be OK, only thing to do is mount a temp dish and see if you can get a signal on the required satellites.

You could get both of those sats on a 70cm with offset arm, but if you are going to motorise, then best to go for an 80cm, that will enable you to look at lots of sats.
