Bush Freesat Box Not Picking Up SD Channels

Sky in loungs, bush freesat upstairs
My Location
Nr Brighton
Hi,

we can pick up the picture and sound on HD channels, but just the sound and no picture on SD channels?

we have tried to re-install the system but with no success

any ideas?

Have you tried unplug the box from the wall wait 30 seconds then plug it back in and wait for it to reinitialise?
 
The Bush badged boxes (Ditto Grundig) don't have a terribly good reputation - If Analoguesat's advice doesn't resolve the issue, return it to Argos. If price is key, just get another Bush until you come across one that works.

The Manhattans seem to have a better reputation for a similar price, and the Humax is reliable too.

I had an experience with Bush boxes years ago. Got one from a wholsaler, got it home and it would lock up changing channels. I took it back the same day for an exchange, left the shop with another box and ditto , same problem. Went back to the shop again the same day and bumped into another fellow carrying in a bush box with a fault. I got my money back!!! Bush,alba and grundig beware this can happen.
