In London a 2.4m dish is requried for the digital transmissions, EIRP peak at 38.2dBW

Not necessarily, Customers of mine have been gettting adequate reception for a long time on a 1.8m (sometimes a 1.5m) from the satellite.It all depends on the polarity required , and the quality of the components
