hi ppl,
i saw a heading on a satellite magazine the other day that its possible to receive C - band signals on a ku- band size dish ??
has anyone got an idea on whether this is possible?

125cm Gibbi with Channelmaster feedhorn and Inverto C120 twin.
36v H to H 62E - 61.5W
My Location
South central
When they sat 'Ku band sized' they mean 130cm absolute minimum I fear.
Anything smaller and you would be wasting your time and money.

2m NERA Prime Focus Dish for C/ku Bands, DM500, SkyStar2, Technomate 5500CIP, Force 1122.
My Location
Stockholm & Windhoek Namibia
I wouldnt bother with C-Band with anything less than a 1.8m dish. My 2m dish in the UK works well enough on C-Band but you still dont get that many channels.
