Can i overwrite patch on patch

Can i overwrite patch on already patched receiver software or do i have to upload the original firmware and then upload the new patch.
 
i only put the origernal software back on my humax if i have problem after uploading
patch on patch x patch on patch ive only done that once in long time
 
you can't overwrite patch on already patched receiver software but you can upload the software (the old patch) that is come with you receiver in the hard disk in a safe place to download it when the new patch make aproblem . then you can download the the new patch
