Hi all,
I'm heavily considering pulling the plug on my sky hd subscription...I seen an advert locally about a dreambox setup via internet with a subscription fee of £20 per month...
After reading through a number of threads I'm assuming this is on a card share basis, which is a route I'm not interested in going down. I need a set up that will allow me to record certain programmes, live pause would be a bonus.
From what I've read my existing dish isn't going to cut it. So can you recommend me a good dish/box to get me started please.
Also will I still be able to get all the sports and movie channels I currently recieve with sky?

Good to avoid the commercial cardshares, but unfortunately, if you want what you presently have, it will probably only be available at a similar or perhaps even more expensive price via foreign subscription.

Your best bet for the channels you get now is Sky UK :-rofl2 :D

Is there a list of 'packages'...what channels are free, which are subscription only?
