For anyone struggling to receive some of the channels on the Nordic beam I have just noticed that a few of the channels are being dual broadcast on another frequency which is a lot easier to pick up in the UK.
These include Eurosport 2, TV4 Sci Fi, TV4 Gold and TV4 Comedy.
For anyone who has problems with 12476 H 27800 try scanning in 11341 V 24500.
 
Same goes for loads of HD channels... They all transmit via Thor 5 on T2, 0.8W, but still in Conax though...
 
Which is currently open using the Diablo 2.3 Cam or the MII+ card !!!!!!

Very very interresting... Do you also get SVT HD and TV4 HD on either CAM or Card? I thought Conax was impossible to play around with...
 
Nothing is impossibel, will only take some more time :)
 
As far as I'm aware both are open, on Canal Digital, using either a Diablo 2.3 Cam or a MII+ card and Conax Cam.
You will have to check which is more suitable to work in your HD receiver, ask other owners.
 
Fine with my Fortec Passion HD and Humax HD with a Diablo. Would have thought it OK with other HD receivers too.

Do you know if the MII+ can be read using any EMUs like CCcam?
 
The MII+ has been roported to have been read by Dragon Cams, and some receivers, but the problem has always been the HD channels which have required it be paired with a Conax Cam, and even some cheap Conax cams haven't worked.
The Diablo 2.3 has also experienced problems with the Canal Digital HD channels and this was only fixed in the later underworld files, and not all HD receivers work perfectly with them.
 
I know this thread is a bit on the older side, but is SVT HD and TV4 HD still accessable with the above mentioned methods?

Should I get a Diablo Cam 2.3 or is there something better these days (and easier to use)?

The Canal Digital HD channels are still available using the MII+ card or the Diablo Cam, but not for too much longer as Canal Digital are in the process of a card swap.
The new Q-Box HD might be easier as it as a built in Diablo Cam, but it is a new receiver, have a read through the Q Box section.
