in have a fortec fta if i want itv am i better getting a cheap sky box or can i get a fta card that will give me itv,if so where can i get one and how much do thay cost

You can't get ITV on a FTA box. Getting a cheap Sky box from eBay and then getting a FTV card shouldn't cost that much.

Have you considered a freeview receiver stag? One off charge of about £40.
