I got sent round one of my wifes eldery friends this morning to sort out her 'Sky' as it's not been working for 4-5 days. I replaced the dish as it was corroded so badly I pushed a hole through the reflector lol Having got the signal back there's another issue, it seems she did once subscribe to Sky, hasn't done for some time but still has a white Sky viewing card in the box. If I boot the Panasonic from cold with the card in I can see all the FTA/FTV channels I would expect (including the correct BBC region on 101) apart from ITV1 where I get an on screen message 'This is the wrong card for this set top box'. I have the same message if I try to add any of the ITV regions as other channels. If I cold boot without the card in I can see ITV1 but the box defaults to BBC London and ITV Midlands.
Shall I just leave it for 24 hours to see if it sorts itself out now it has a signal once again or does it need a new card from Freesatfromsky?
