Does anyone here have experiance setting up the Technomate 600 with CCcam?

If so is there any chance you could guide me? I have installed UR Image.

Sorry but the last linux box was a Dreambox 500s, about 4 or 5 years ago! Im WAYYY out of date here :(
 
OK i'm going to have to go off memory as i binned my TM600 after about 2 months. Thats how much i disliked it :-puke

First thing i remember was that the UR image was horrendous and very buggy on the TM600 I had although this was only about 2 months after it was first released onto the market. I mostly used DS4 on mine :D

You will need to install CCcam from the one of the coloured buttons. I think it was the green one on the UR image if my memory serves me correctly.

You'll see in the menu either cams of emus, i can't remember which.

Scroll down the list until you come to which ever version of CCcam you want to use and press ok. It should then download and install itself.

Get that done and comeback to us with the info on which card you are trying to read in it.

Im not sure how to activate cccam tho? i cant find it on ftp the file :(

Also, i cant get my official showtime card to decocde showtime sport channels :( its like theres no card there, but works fine on my non linux box

p.s its blue not green :)
 
The TM600 was an oddball receiver which i never liked unlike the TM9100 which i did rate as not a bad receiver.

You activate Cccam from the emu menu. The SIF 1.9.4 menu is pictured below, the UR one should be something similar. Its on the blue button on the Dreambox can't remember which button it was under UR.

As for your card I have no idea as i have never used any Irdeto2 card. Get cccam running first and then if you still have no joy we'll try different things afterwards.

I would also look at the DS image. I thought it was much better than UR in more ways than one. You'll find it here.

Hree are my options, ive tried save and restart but it doesnt appear to activate it? Is there any way i would know if its activated?

Hi mate,

how do i start the cccam? I cannot see any option :( and in entitlements i cant see anything :(

Right guys,

I have found the cfg file, it was under /var/etc/CCam.cfg :)

Now i just need help setting the config for cardsharing! Its been a long time like i say but im starting to pic it back up again! Finally!

hi mate,

what software have you put on?

And have you ftp'd the box?
 
software was factory loaded
i have 8 softcam installedand the one i am using is cc cam_2103
not sure what ftp'd means
 
you need to ftp into the box to edit the config file...

google - filezilla

then on the box goto setup, comunication setup, and find your box ip.

open filezilla and connect - IP (box ip) Username - root, password - blank
 
no luck
downloaded filezilla latest version followed ur instructions and it did not lead me to a config file
 
i downloaded the wrong version
i now have client version
been playing still no luck
will let you know how i get on
