This is NOT a HD test at the moment - its a SD testcard with this info on it


In fact its barely SD to be honest - its only running at 990 kbps on the video - which is horribly low

It will indeed be good news for those of us in Cyprus who are Ch4 fans, but lose out due to co-channel interferance from Badr/Arabsat. HD or not, do we have a date in Dec it is due to start?

I doubt this will turn into the full C4HD service - there is insufficient capacity on this tp as things stand at the moment. ALso its not a C4 tp, its a Sky contolled tp.

No full launch date at the moment just "December" although it has to be in the first 3 weeks as Sky always has a epg freeze over the Christmas period.

Which satellite/beam is this transmission on please?

2B south - now tagged as 4Mix, but only active with programming after 10pm uk time.
 
I think this has gone now. Am I wrong?
 
Yes - 4 Mix was removed at the beginning of the week.
 
BTW C4 HD launched on 2A south last Monday - epg 140
