Viaccess2 is a new level of encryption not a key change.

It has proved more difficult to open, but I beleive it can be done - time will tell.

You can bet the best boys are on the case - they have a lot of work on at the moment!!!

Yes.. looks like a breathing space before/if they move to V2.

Looks like some light has started to appear at the end of the tunnel tonight.

Keep watching and reading here....

Anyone know if encryption has changed on Astra 19.2 for ABSAT channels?

SCAM opens it on the Dreambox, so other stuff must too.

Just watched the Supercross from Paris-Bercy!

hi friends, i have some questions, i bought a receiver Eurospace 7000X, they told it auto updates keys, but I can view only a few channels, and now some channels already disappeared. Is there any software that can open channels, how to do this if it is the possible. Does a software works for all models or it is different software for different receivers? I am new to this field and would welcome any help. Thanks.

It's mainly custom built for each box, and it goes out of date quickly. Only a regular manual update can keep it fresh. There's not much open at the moment anyhow.

At this time of despair its a good idea to study all the info sites, so you can be ready when all the file guys come up with an answer!

Thanx for replying. I searched net for eurospace 7000x but could not find who manufactured this box, nor any software for it. The guy at the shop who updates the software charges for "opening" the channels and is not willing to tell what softare is he using; (a trade secret?). what a funny situation !!!!!

Hmm, not for you I'll bet.

You can be fairly confident your box is made by a bigger company and re-badged. You just need to know which one. Keep searching, and look for similar case layouts to your own. You could also open it up. May give you a clue inside. When you know what you're dealing with, it'll be much more straightforward, and then you can go laugh at the man in the shop.
