Chaparral Monterrey 140

without memory card,you cant store satellite positions,on this receiver!

if you buy the stb,and you need a memory card,i have one left!

Not sure if they're the same, but I have a pair of remotes (one Wireless) for the Monterey 40 in Remote Central if someone needs it to go with this receiver.

PS. Wouldn't have added this, but for Smurf asking about them for this receiver.:)

If they don't work with M140, i will buy them m8, since i do have a M40 stored away :) which sadly doesn't have the wireless module .smurf5599 is interested in the M140 you have first choice m8.

Well, the receiver is here, if anyone does have interest. It is though, a little difficult to get in contact with the users, if I have to post a lot of messages, before I can PM someone. Maybe I will try to get a new memorycard anyway ? I used the receiver some time without memorycard, it was no problem, it stored positions, and worked properly.
 
The rules of the classified section state that you only contact members after the deal is done in the thread, to arrange payment and postage details, so you don't need PM prior to a deal being done.

Just remember that this receiver is located in Norway which is not part of EU which will add VAT and customs duties when you import it to a EU country.

I have a M140 and the power supply is on its
way out, I replaced the PS once..

I love the M140m its the Best analog Recevier ever made,
but nobody here in the US can fix it or has one For Sale...

Thanks for the info though... ( Maybe I can find a friend traveling to Norway for Christmas )

There are shops in the US that carry out repairs on these models, and some complete ones turn up on eBay on a weekly basis.

for example 190355291329

You can send it in to Chaparral in Monterey, CA.

They are still alive, however i don't know if they have any spare parts left as it's many years ago now.....

I must say sorry to You all, for not checking whats happening in this thread, but now I have been looking through the comments. I have not done anything with the Monterrey, its in my storage room. I have a big collection of literature about the Chaparral models, and I will enclose this to anyone which is interested. I live just 20 kms. away from the Swedish border, so no problems with the EU, as for sending/receiving things. I was looking at Telias instrument, I alrady have one Satlook, but a slightly older model, but it runs beautifully, and adjusts dishes close to every day. It is tempting to buy a newer model, maybe Telias Satlook could be something ??
