Chasing Midnight New Years Eve 2012

Well I think this NYE has broken some records here

1) the most timezones celebrated with at least some minor action at 14 up to 0000 uk

2) the mildest and least stormy NYE in donkeys years here

3) the soberest Ive been in years -> I wouldnt try to drive a car atm but Im relatively sober despite the mixture of drinks Ive imbibed during the day

0200 on Euronews was a failure... They intended to go live but went to news after just getting a Reuters information screen
 
This year CNNI has been also simulcasting the coverage for New Orleans... at least so far. So we might be able to see Central time zone New Year as well. Maybe.<span><span></span></span>
